A NEW ROAD

(excerpt from a journal entry for Fei dated July 2011)
Dear Sweet Little One-
While only the Lord knows the details of your life right now, we are constantly praying for you and have begun sharing the excitement of you with family and friends.  Just over a week ago (June 23), we brought pot stickers, cream cheese wontons and lettuce wraps home, along with a globe on the table, to share the exciting news with your brothers and sisters, TJ, Owen & Ellie.  They were speechless, just for a moment, and were radiating with excitement!  TJ had so many questions..."will we all go to pick her up?  what city will we go to?  where will she sleep?  what is her name?"; Ellie kept joyfully repeating, "I finally get a sister!" and Owen was taking it all in.  They each were asked to draw a picture of our family, including you, and they all took great pride in them.  It has been so exciting to share the news with family and friends, specifically asking for prayer for you, for us here in the U.S. and for all those involved in the process...And while we don't know you yet, your heavenly Father knows all about you and has an amazing plan for your life.  We are amazed and humbled to be a part of your life and can't wait to teach you how much God loves you and desires to bless you.  While we wait to meet each other, we will be constant in prayer and continually grateful for this opportunity to expand our family!
